Romy Greenwald

Founder and President

Romy Greenwald is a student at Duke University. Her family immigrated from Mexico and Cuba. Romy continues to lead MiSendero as a college student and is currently working on making MiSendero a permanent class in high schools.

Camila is a senior at Santa Barbara High School. Her family immigrated from Mexico. She loves going out to get boba and dance.

Diego Sandoval

Director of San Marcos High School

Diego is a junior at San Marcos High School. His family immigrated from Mexico.

Natalia Leizorek

Director of Florida and Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School

Natalia is a senior at Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School. Her family immigrated from Mexico. Natalia is passionate about running and dancing.

Majo Benitez

Director of Publicity

Majo is a senior at Ventura High School. She is from Guanajuato, Mexico. In addition to taking pictures, Majo enjoys the sunsets and listening to Harry Styles.

Melany Jacobo

Director of Art

Melany is a sophomore at Ventura High School. She is an English Learner originally from Tijuana, Mexico, Baja California, México. Her hobbies include painting, drawing mandalas, crafting and reading romance and terror books. She is passionate about helping others.

Manuela Reyes

Manuela is a junior at Ventura High School. She is originally from Medellin, Colombia. She likes art, specifically cinematography. She is passionate about meeting new people and learning about new cultures.
